Truly hand-made in Denmark, Jargar Violin Strings feature a steel core formulated with flexibility in mind along with multiple metals and alloys used in the winding. The tone is very bright and distinct, and while designed with classical playing in mind, these strings serve quite well for bluegrass and handle double stops perhaps better than any other string we've seen. An interesting fact, Jargar string craftsmen each produce just 60 perfect strings in a day and were originally designed by Royal Danish Opera Orchestra cellist Jarl Hansen.
